Every music artist has a tradition or two that they like to take with them out on the road. The tradition that Eric Paslay has might surprise you a little bit.
In between shows, he makes interesting crafts for his tourmates and crew as way to say thank you.
The tradition started back when Paslay first toured with Brantley Gilbert according to Wide Open Country.
Gilbert’s logo is a skeleton on a motorcycle, so Paslay decided to incorporate that into a craft. He used a railroad flashlight and crafted a cool custom box honoring the Let it Ride tour.
Paslay continues to use miscellaneous antiques and old parts to craft gifts during future tours because he finds the process fun. He says the tradition helps him relax, unwind and have a little fun while on tour.
