Seth and Kat’s 4 Things You Need To Know-October 18th

Airbnb just launched a new contest where someone will win the chance to spend Halloween night in Dracula’s castle in Transylvania. Its real name is Bran Castle, and it’s in Romania.  It’s where Vlad the Impaler lived in the 15th century . . . he was the inspiration for Dracula when Bram Stoker wrote the book. No one has spent a night in the castle since 1948, but it’s a HUGE tourist attraction that gets more than 630,000 visitors a year. Guests will arrive by horse-drawn carriage to the castle, and then they’ll be treated to a candlelit dinner, before heading into the crypt for their night’s sleep inside velvet-trimmed coffins. Guests must still abide by certain house rules. Garlic is forbidden, as is silver jewelry and making “cross” signs. For the chance to become to stay overnight at the castle, entrants must state what they’d say to Count Dracula if they ended up coming “face-to-fang” with him. (TIME)

Amy Schumer brought a Donald Trump supporter on stage and asked the person to explain themselves during her stand-up show on Sunday in Tampa. “Do you get worried at all with how impulsive he is, that he gets so fired up from ‘Saturday Night Live’ doing a skit on him?” Amy asked. Some began booing as the set turned political. “Of course, we’re in Florida, you’re going to boo,” Amy said. “I know you’re here to laugh, but you choose how you’re going to live your life, and it’s just too important.” About 200 people reportedly walked out. Schumer responded yesterday: “I loved the crowd and my show in Tampa last night! I want to thank the 8,400 people who stayed. We had a great time! We have always depended on comedians to make us laugh and tell the truth. I am proud to continue that tradition.” (CBS News)

Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko earned a perfect 40 with their sizzling Argentine tango that left the judges speechless on “Dancing With the Stars.”  Their dance was so hot that it even had musical guest and judge, Pitbull, drooling.  Kramer and Savchenko nabbed the only perfect score of the night, but James Hinchliffe and Sharna Burgess weren’t too far behind, scoring a 38. At the end of the night, the three couples in jeopardy were Amber Rose and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Calvin Johnson and Lindsay Arnold and Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko.  Ultimately, it was Amber and Max who were sent packing.  Rose called it an amazing experience.  Tune in next Monday to find out which couple is eliminated on “Dancing With the Stars.” (Entertainment Weekly)
