Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett Lead Country AMA Nominees

Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan and Thomas Rhett are among the multiple country nominees at the 2016 American Music Awards, taking place on November 20th and airing live on ABC. Carrie leads the pack with three nods, including the all-genre Artist of the Year category. The nominees were announced yesterday (Monday, October 10th) according to Good Morning America.

Drake led the pack with 13 overall nominations and set a new AMA record for most nominations in a single year, surpassing Michael Jackson’s 11 nominations in 1984, according to the AMAs.
