Ben Stiller revealed that he recently underwent surgery after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. “It came out of the blue for me. I had no idea,” says the 50-year-old Stiller. “At first, I didn’t know what was gonna happen. I was scared. It just stopped everything in your life because you can’t plan for a movie because you don’t know what’s gonna happen.” He added that one of the first people he called was his old Meet the Parents co-star Robert De Niro, who previously battled prostate cancer, and encouraged other men get screened for the disease. Country super couple Faith Hill and Tim McGraw will appear on the current season of The Voice as key advisers. Hill and McGraw will make their debut on the October 24 episode of the show, during which they will give contestants from all four teams pointers ahead of the Knockout rounds.
McGraw and Hill also broke the news that they are set to undertake a massive tour together in 2017, marking the first time they have toured as a duo since 2007. It’s also Hill’s first tour since then. (Taste Of Country)

On Tuesday night’s episode of DWTS, pro dancer Sasha Farber stole the spotlight by proposing to his girlfriend (and fellow dance pro) Emma Slater during the live broadcast. On a sadder note, rapper Vanilla Ice and music producer Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds were eliminated from the competition. Sadder still, nobody seemed to care much since they were all so excited about Farber’s on-air proposal.
Nike has revealed plans to release a limited number of its Back to the Future-inspired self-lacing shoes to the public via an online lottery. According to ESPN, 89 pairs of the Nike Mag shoes will be available through an online lottery that began yesterday. Four additional pairs will be auctioned off in Hong Kong, London and New York during the next five weeks. Those interested in entering the drawing must donate $10, which will benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation to fight for a cure to Parkinson’s disease. Winners for the current North American raffle will be announced on October 17.
All the “Harry Potter” movies are coming back to theaters, in IMAX. Warner Brothers and IMAX announced that all eight films will be shown in participating theaters for an entire week, starting October 13th. It’s all part of a promotion for the upcoming film “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them,” which is based on the novel written by “Potter” creator J.K. Rowling. That film comes out next month.
