The first presidential debate is creating plenty of buzz after Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton went at it. The two clashed over the economy and foreign policy and frequently interrupted each other. It was the most-tweeted debate ever. (THR) Donald Trump’s sniffles during last night’s presidential debate are still getting plenty of attention. Someone even set up a Twitter account @TrumpSniff and quickly drew more than a thousand followers. Read more from CNN

Voters on both sides of the political aisle are split on who won last night’s presidential debate.  The right-wing Drudge Report gives Republican nominee Donald Trump an 80-percent to 20 percent edge over Democrat Hillary Clinton.  Meanwhile, a CNN/ORC poll of people who were more apt to describe themselves as Democrats has 62-percent of respondents saying Clinton won the debate compared to just 27 percent for Trump.  A poll from Fortune had the debate about even.


The Miami Marlins are saying goodbye to their beloved teammate. Miami beat the New York Mets 7-3 last night in their first game since the death of pitcher Jose Fernandez. Shortly after honoring the 24-year-old during a pre-game tribute, Dee Gordon led off the bottom of the first, and while he normally bats left-handed, he initially walked up to the plate right-handed, and took a pitch. He was paying tribute to Jose, and was even wearing Jose’s batting helmet. He then switched back to the left side of the plate and hit a home run. It was his first home run of the SEASON. And it was the most emotional scene you’ll ever see and it had many players attempting to hold back tears. The entire team wore Fernandez’s number-16 jersey during the win. Fernandez died Sunday in a boating accident.
