Eddie Montgomery went through a public battle with cancer a few years ago, so it’s understandable why fans would be worried after the singer collapsed on stage over the weekend.
But it turns out there wasn’t really anything to worry about.
The singer was performing with his partner Troy Gentry at the Cornstock Concert on the Hill in Garnett when he tumbled to the ground and halted the gig as medics rushed onto the stage.
Initial reports suggested the Montgomery Gentry star had suffered a heart attack, but Gentry took to Twitter after the show to assure fans his bandmate was simply dehydrated, and was doing well according to Rolling Stone.
Later, Montgomery himself took to Twitter on Sunday to share a picture of himself and wife Jennifer.
