The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story proved to be the big winner at the 2016 Emmy Awards, where it took home nine awards. In addition to being recognized as this year’s Outstanding Limited Series, Sarah Paulson was recognized as Outstanding Actress for a Limited Series or Movie for her portrayal of Marcia Clark. Courtney B. Vance and Sterling K. Brown also took home the awards for Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie and Supporting Actor in Limited Series or Movie, respectively. Later, Canadian actress Tatiana Maslany walked away with the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in Drama Series for her role in Orphan Black andVeep took home the statue for Outstanding Comedy Series.

Jimmy Kimmel served as host at the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards, and Kimmel was later interrupted by his nemesis Matt Damon, who poked fun at the talk show host for losing the Outstanding Variety Talk Series award to John Oliver. “This is so humiliating,” Damon quipped. “You lost and now you have to stand out here for the rest of the night in front of everybody when you probably just wanna go home and cry.”
Also…one of the BEST moments of the night was one you might have missed. The child actors from Stranger Things passed out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to audience members during the show which were allegedly made by Kimmel’s mom. During the Emmys pre-show, Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) and Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) also performed Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk.”

Lady Gaga is NOT confirmed to perform at the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime show…yet. Reports began circulating last week that Lady Gaga was in talks to headline the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show. Over the weekend, Us Weekly confirmed that Gaga would indeed be performing during the championship football game. However, a rep for the NFL has since debunked those reports.

For one Seattle Sounders fan, his love of soccer hasn’t changed even though he’s suffering from a brain tumor with a very low survival rate. 8-year-old Nathan Beatty is from Texas, but he loves soccer and especially Seattle’s Clint Dempsey. About a week after Nathan was officially diagnosed, word about him and his condition got to Seattle and Clint Dempsey. This week the Sounders pulled out all the stops for the family from welcome gifts in their rooms to VIP field access and suite seats… and finally they surprised him when Clint Dempsy showed up to kick the ball around on the field Nathan.

Cows deserve privacy too, right? People on the internet are giving “Google Street View” a hard time after Guardian editor David Shariatmadari noticed the software that automatically blurs people’s faces in close-ups had also blurred the face of a cow in Cambridge, U.K. Google released a statement saying, “We thought you were pulling the udder one when we herd the moos, but it’s clear that our automatic face-blurring technology has been a little overzealous. Of course, we don’t begrudge this cow milking its five minutes of fame.
