A stranded and orphaned baby sea otter is getting a second chance, thanks to the Seattle Aquarium. In early August, this sea otter pup showed up on Rialto Beach. He was only 3 weeks old, very thin and very weak. But he has been recovering at the Seattle Aquarium and they’re hoping when the little guy gets healthy again, he can find a permanent home at the aquarium in Vancouver, B.C.

Disney’s California Adventure has announced that it will shut down the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ride on January 2. The beloved elevator attraction will be replaced by a Guardians of the Galaxy-themed ride called Mission: Breakout. However, Disney will offer several promotions that give Tower of Terror fans a chance to say goodbye. From September 9 to October 31, guests will be able to experience the ride in complete darkness. Special merchandise and concessions will also be available.

Bill Nye the Science Guy is coming to Netflix. The scientist and television personality will host a new talk show called Bill Nye Saves the World, which will premiere in 2017. “Today, I’m excited to be working with Netflix on a new show, where we’ll discuss the complex scientific issues facing us today, with episodes on vaccinations, genetically modified foods and climate change,” Nye said in a statement Wednesday. In addition to interviewing special guests, the show will feature Nye conducting experiments.

A wide receiver for Florida State named Travis Rudolph was visiting a middle school in Tallahassee on Tuesday. And there was an 11-year-old kid with autism sitting alone at lunch. So HE sat & had lunch with him. The boy’s mother, who constantly worries about her son being lonely, said she burst into tears when a school employee sent her the image and the photo of it is going viral.
