Drake White Travels 3,000 Miles In 17 Hours For Charity

Drake White isn’t just sitting back to celebrate his hit single, “Livin’ the Dream” and the release of his new album Spark.

White decided to also “give the dream” by traveling across the country this week to give back with multiple charities.

According to PEOPLE, he visited five cities across the country in 17 hours, logging over 3,000 miles and spending over nine hours on an airplane.

Here is a quick recap:

1. Friends of Firefighters – New York City
On the first stop of White’s cross-country “Flight to Light the Spark” campaign, he teamed up with the Friends of Firefighters and Squad 288/Hazmat 1 in Queens, New York. White started the day by bringing breakfast to the firehouse and meeting with firefighters. He wrapped up the visit with an acoustic two-song performance for the entire firehouse.

2. North Texas Food Bank (in partnership with Ford Community Fund) – Dallas, Texas
The second stop had White partnering with the Ford Community Fund and at the North Texas Food Bank, where he sorted food, stocked shelves and loaded carts for customers.

3. The Boys & Girls Club of South Central Kansas – Wichita, Kansas
White stopped at The Boys and Girls Club to chat with the young members about reaching their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Drake also played three songs and performed some science experiments with the kids.

4. Musicians on Call at the Denver VA Medical Center – Denver, Colorado
White partnered with Musicians on Call to stop by the Denver VA Medical Center, where he visited patient rooms and played a few songs for the patients.

5. Western Surfing Association (in partnership with Salt Life) – Los Angeles
For the fifth and final stop in White’s whirlwind day, he partnered with Salt Life and the Western Surfing Association (WSA) for a Marine Conservation event at Oceanside beach to surf and clean up the beach area. He wrapped up the day with a few acoustic songs around the campfire.
