As expected, Ryan Lochte is losing sponsors big time. In fact, he has been dropped by ALL of his sponsors. Speedo, Ralph Lauren, Gentle Hair Removal, and even Airweave, a Japanese company that makes mattress toppers have parted ways with the U.S. swimmer after “over exaggerating” his story about being robbed in Rio. Those sponsorships were worth around $1 million a year, and that’s money he needs to pay for training for the 2020 games in Tokyo. The NodPod, or “head hammock”, cradles your chin as you sleep; it attaches to your headrest and can adjusted to get your head into a comfy place. This simple, nerdy, but possibly effective creation has already blasted through its $20,000 Kickstarter goal and at the time of writing has backing to the tune of more than $200,000.
