Shortly after winning her fourth gold medal in Rio yesterday, Simon Biles had another dream come true: meeting her crush Zac Efron. Entertainment Tonight reports that Efron flew into Brazil to surprise Biles and her Final Five teammates on the TODAY show. Biles, who admitted to owning & frequently kissing a cardboard cutout of Efron, has since posted photos and video of not only getting to kiss Efron in person…but having ZAC return the favor as well. One of the most talked-about moments from the Olympics was when New Zealand runner Nikki Hamblin tripped and fell during the the women’s 5,000 meter run Tuesday in Rio, accidentally taking down American Abbey D’Agostino as well. Abbey got up first, but instead of taking off, she went over to Nikki and helped her get up so she could finish the race.  But it turned out Abbey’s knee was screwed up pretty badly, and SHE was going to have trouble finishing the remaining four laps. So Nikki gave HER some help and encouragement, and they both ended up finishing last and next to last.  Nikki was also there waiting to hug Abbey once she crossed the finish line. Despite the falls, both will advance to the final due to having been tripped.

At least 40-thousand homes have been damaged or destroyed with more than 60-thousand people registering for federal disaster aid.

The deal is good from 11am to 7pm, August 19 and 20th. And before you begin entertaining dangerously ambitious schemes to score as much frozen sucrose-water as possible, bear in mind 7-11 has already called out trashcans, trash bags, kiddy pools, and kitchen sinks as impermissible containers. However, you can try your luck with any “cup” that fits upright in the Slurpee machine and features a 10-inch diameter opening.
