It’s the perfect time to step up, animal lovers. The Seattle Humane Society said yesterday afternoon that it’s Pet Food Bank is completely out of cat food. The Pet Food Bank collects donations for the pets of low-income people, feeding close to 2,000 pets a month with eight tons of donated food. Well you can finally stop lying to your dentist about flossing. The Associated Press just looked at the research on the benefits of flossing, and they got the Department of Health and Human Services to admit that no study has ever proven that flossing your teeth is effective. So why has the government been recommending that we all floss every day for almost four decades? A dentist from the National Institutes of Health summed it up saying, “We know there’s a possibility that it works, so we feel comfortable telling people to go ahead and do it.”

“America’s Got Talent” viewers got a big surprise during last night’s live show when a contestant accidentally shot her husband in the throat with a flaming arrow. During a performance by sideshow duo, Amber and Ryan, a stunt that was supposed to end with Amber hitting a target in Ryan’s mouth ended up hitting him in the throat instead. While the incident shocked both the judges and the audience, AGT says Ryan is fine and was just rattled after the incident.
