The Band Perry was forced to cancel their concert in Delaware this weekend just hours before they were scheduled to take the stage.
According to police, two men walked into a venue near where the trio were scheduled to perform and made threats specific to the sold-out show.
While it’s not clear what the two men allegedly said, it was specific to the concert and would have put the Band Perry, their 2,400 fans fans, volunteers and employees with the venue at risk according to the Delaware News Journal.
Security at numerous venues has increased since the tragic Orlando shooting at Pulse nightclub and the shooting that claimed The Voice singer Christina Grimmie during a meet & greet.
The Delaware concert was rescheduled for Aug. 17, and anyone who bought tickets can get refunds, but Kimberly, Neil and Reid Perry wanted to personally tweet their apologies and concerns over the last minute cancellation.
