Comedian Ralphie May is a hero. Witnesses say May was at the Spokane International Airport this week, and he was waiting in between flights at the food court when a woman started screaming for help. A crowd started gathering and May walked over to see a young child choking. May reportedly gave the kid the Heimlich, dislodging the food. Paramedics arrived a short time later and told May he saved the kid’s life.

Lindsay Lohan is writing a book about her personal life. She told Vanity Fair, “I hope that my words will connect with those who need some guidance when [or] if they are in a tough place.” Lohan, who has been open about her past struggles with addiction, is using her book as “a platform to let people know that we all have ups and downs in life, and we can all come up from the downs if we get in touch with our inner self and spiritual side.” In addition to writing her book, she’d like to spend the next decade “making more films, starting my charity, working with children a lot.”
