Zac Brown shared an amazing Kenny Chesney story that happened a few years ago.
He and his band were asked to do a special show, but they had no way to get there, so he reached out to Kenny, hoping to use his jet.
He explains, quote, “So I called Kenny in the middle of the night and he said ‘hold on a second, I just took an Ambien, I’m in my bunk.'” Kenny hung up, and then a few minutes later his pilot called and said okay.
Zac and his band flew to the show in style, and after it all went down he called to say thanks . . . but Kenny was clueless.
Zac told Taste of Country, “I’m like ‘Dude, thank you so much. You just saved us a show for 16,000 people.’ He said, ‘What are you talking about?’ He had no idea that he sent it.” (You can listen to the interview, here. The Kenny stuff starts at 0:37.)
