The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Golden State Warriors 93-89 in Game 7 last night to win the 2016 NBA Championship. It marks the team’s first championship in franchise history and the city’s first major pro sports championship in 52 years. The Cavs also become the first team in NBA history to come back from a 3-1 deficit to win the NBA Finals. No shock here, LeBron James was unanimously named the MVP. He led ALL players-on BOTH teams- in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks over the whole series.

Hollywood is still in shock over the death of a young actor. 27-year-old Anton Yelchin died after an apparent freak car accident in California this weekend. Police said he was found pinned between his own car and a brick mailbox at his San Fernando Valley home. They suspect the car wasn’t fully parked before the actor walked behind his vehicle and it began to roll down the steep decline in the driveway. The 27-year-old Yelchin starred as Chekov in the new “Star Trek” films and had just finished work on Star Trek Beyond. He also starred in Terminator Salvation, Fright Night, Charlie Bartlett, and Alpha Dog.

Blake Shelton is celebrating his birthday with girlfriend Gwen Stefani. The couple closed out Shelton’s set at Country Jam in Colorado over the weekend with a duet. They wrapped-up a two-hour performance with “God Gave Me You.” The country music superstar and coach on “The Voice” turned 40-years-old on Saturday.
