A state appeals court has rejected Hope Solo’s request to avoid trial on misdemeanor domestic violence charges. The goalkeeper for the U.S. Women’s Soccer team and Seattle Reign FC was trying to have the charges throw out from the incident in 2014 at her sister’s home in Kirkland when she was accused of being intoxicated and assaulting her sister and 17-year-old nephew. She can still appeal the ruling to the Washington state Supreme Court.

Tinder is pulling the plug on teenage users. The dating and hookup app originally let anyone 13 and older with a Facebook account use the service. (Who thought 13 was a good age for a dating app?!) Now Tinder is restricting the user base to strictly 18 and older. It’s estimated that teenagers account for about 3 percent of the app’s 50 million users.

Carrie Underwood is celebrating some big wins after last night’s CMT Music Awards. She took home two awards — Performance of the Year and Female Video of the Year, both for “Smoke Break” surpassing her own record for the most wins in the show’s history with a grand total of 15. Meanwhile, Tim McGraw took home the top prize–Video of the Year–for “Humble and Kind”, marking his first win since 2005.

And for some reason, fans are losing their minds about it! One fan said “That time Beyoncé sneezed on stage & the crowd melted.  She is real!” Then another fan said  “Beyoncé is such an amazing performer that she sneezed onstage and I was sure she faked it to seem more like the rest of us.”
