There’s nothing worse than being a kid and getting blamed for something you didn’t actually do.
That’s exactly what happened to 16-year-old Ashley Banks when her mother thought she stumbled upon ‘drugs’ in her room.
Cue the drama which all unfolded in what has now become a viral text conversation according to FOX 8.
Ashley had asked her mother to go search for her calculator in her room when she was out of the house. Ms. Banks never found said calculator, however, she did find a bag full of capsules stuffed with colorful substances.
“What are these?” she asks with an accompanying photo of the pills. Without even receiving a response, Ms. Banks flies off the handle, saying, “Ashley Carol I will not have drugs in my house. Come home right now. As soon as your dad comes home from California we will discuss your consequences. As for now your [sic] grounded and you will not leave the house, come home this instant.”
Ashley then responded to her mother’s text with a few laughing emojis and one simple instruction: “Go put them in water.”
Turns out…they turned into tiny, bright dinosaur sponges.
