You wouldn’t really expect beach balls to be an issue in Indiana, (I know… I grew up there), but apparently one fan at a Miranda Lambert concert decided they should bring one along.
Miranda Lambert didn’t seem too excited when the ball hit the stage.
While Lambert was about to start singing at her Keeper of the Flame Tour kickoff in Indianapolis, she grabbed the beach ball that had made its way to the stage and brought it over to the microphone.
“First of all, it feels like it’s January so we don’t need this today,” Lambert joked while holding the huge ball.
“Secondly, my best friend Ashley Monroe gave me this necklace that I was hoping I could use tonight because it’s a pistol but it’s also a pocket knife. I’m sorry, very sorry for whoever’s ball this is, but it’s gonna die now.”
Bye-bye ball! With one quick slash of her necklace knife, the ball was done.
It never even stood a chance.
“I feel so much better. Thank you for that,” Lambert told the crowd.
After getting some tension out, she began to sing “The House That Built Me.”
