Well that didn’t take long.
When tickets went on sale last week for Luke Bryan’s first-ever headlining show at Madison Square Garden (January 25), they sold out in five minutes. Immediately after, the “Drink a Beer” singer announced a second show at the famed New York arena for September 12. And when that show went on sale over the weekend, those tickets also flew out the door in minutes.
“I can’t thank my fans enough for being so eager to see us play in New York City,” Bryan said in a press statement. “They have made my first time playing Madison Square Garden a two-time experience. I’m trying to let it all sink in but I cannot wait to get there and share my live show with them!”
Bryan’s popularity has been fast on the rise this past year thanks to hits songs like “That’s My Kind of Night” and “Crash My Party,” as well as the fact he won Entertainer of the Year at the ACM Awards in April.
“I’ve been lucky in this business to have each year be the year of my life,” Bryan told Radio.com.
The Madison Square Garden shows are part of Bryan’s recently announced That’s My Kind of Night Tour. The first leg of that tour kicks off January 16 in Columbus, Ohio and features opening acts Lee Brice and Cole Swindell.
