Carrie Underwood Fans Defend Her After ‘X Factor’ Comment
Carrie Underwood may have a hockey player husband with loyal fans, but her country followers are getting rowdy after a comment made by X Factor judge Demi Lovato.
Aspiring country singer Rachel Potter sang Heart’s rock power ballad ‘Alone’ on the show on this week. The young singer explained that she chose that song because it’s something Carrie Underwood would do.
Lovato, likely trying to give support and a vote of confidence, replied “No, you would do better than Carrie Underwood” according to Taste Of Country.
The comparison didn’t sit well with many of Underwood’s fans who took to Twitter to defend the superstar. While her words weren’t exactly a nasty insult towards Carrie, the country star’s fans still felt the need to voice their disapproval.
Demi lovato, should be ashamed of herself, dissing carrie underwood like that on the X factor. Practice what you peach, Demi. “Bullying”
