Julianne Hough Slammed For Halloween Costume

Halloween tends to bring out the racy, scandalous, and revealing costumes for the ladies in Hollywood, but In Julianne Hough‘s case, she took scandalous to a whole new level.

According to E!, Julianne donned blackface for her costume this weekend while dressing up as the character “Crazy Eyes” from the hit Netflix series Orange Is the New Black.
The actress and former Dancing With The Stars professional dancer attended the Casamigos Tequila Halloween party in Hollywood with friends, who all went as the cast of the hit series. It didn’t take long for images of her controversial costume to show up everywhere. Bloggers were in disbelief, and Twitter users swiftly condemned the act.
By Sunday, Julianne Hough had posted an apology on Twitter writing: “I am a huge fan of the show Orange is the New black, actress Uzo Aduba, and the character she has created. It certainly was never my intention to be disrespectful or demeaning to anyone in any way. I realize my costume hurt and offended people and I truly apologize.”
