Today marks 12 years since nearly 3,000 people lost their lives on September 11th, 2001. Two hijacked planes struck the World Trade Center towers in New York, another plane hit the Pentagon in Washington D.C., and another crashed into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
We will never forget those lives lost on this tragic day in our nation’s history. KMPS and The Johnson and Johnson Morning Show salute all those who serve in the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, police, firefighters, and all those who put their lives on the line for our safety and freedom.
