Air Expo 2012 – “One Team Defending Freedom”
Saturday July 21st & Sunday July 22nd
Gates open at 8AM and flying starts at 11AM both Saturday & Sunday
Join KMPS at the 2012 Air Expo at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The event is FREE and open to the general public and brought to you by CenturyLink & 94.1 KMPS. More than 20 aerial performers are set to put on a show. The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the U.S. Army’s “Golden Knights” Parachute Team, and the civilian Patriots Jet Team head the list of more than 20 flying performers each day and more than 50 aircraft and military equipment on display.
JBLM Soldiers and Airmen will be on hand with airframes and vehicles from JBLM as part of dozens of ground static displays. In most cases, people attending the Air Expo can not only see a C-17 Globemaster III and a CH-47 Chinook helicopter up-close, but they can actually go inside and speak directly with the aircrews who fly them.
