What do you do on Fathers Day? Children all over the nation each celebrate their days differently, but there is one thing that they hold in common, they honor and celebrate their Fathers and all that they have accomplished. Many a country stars such as Keith Urban and Brad Paisley credit their fathers to all of their accomplishments.

Keith wrote “Song for Dad” which appears on his “Golden Road” album in honor of his father, Keith stated “I just wanted to write a song to say thanks to my dad.”  ”The older I get The more I can see How much he loved my mother and my brother and me And he did the best that he could And I only hope when I have my own family That everyday I see  A little more of my father in me”

Keith credits his father for his found love of American country music.

Brad Paisley’s grandfather actually gave him his first guitar, and helped inspire him to be the guitar hero he is today.

These country stars find a way to honor their father, through a song or a dedication at an awards ceremony. Though we may not be able to all do this you can still think of a way to honor dad!  So how will you spend your Fathers Day?
