A couple great ways to honor our troops, and spend some time dedicated to Memorial Day is to visit the Seattle Veterans Museum.
It will be open this Friday, Saturday and Monday from 10am to 5pm where you can see displays from the revolutionary war to the War on terrorism. Over 1000 pieces of military history, including mannequins that are fully equipped from boots to helmet as well as displays of authentic military gear, weapons and uniforms.
For more details on the museum, click here.
Also this weekend, if you have the cash, you can take a ride a real B-17 bomber from World War 2. I’ts the Aluminum Overcast, and they will be conducting rides from the Museum Of Flight through Sunday. Flights are $409.00 for Experimental Aircraft Association members, and $449.00 for non members. If you would like to take a ride on this amazing aircraft, call 1-800-359-6217. More information is at the Museum Of Flight’s webpage by clicking here.
