A new roster of artists performing at this year’s CMT Music Awards was announced today. Country legends Willie Nelson and Hank Williams, Jr. will perform during the award ceremony on June 6, along with Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry, Eric Church, Luke Bryan, and The Pistol Annies.
These newly announced artists join a growing list of performers that already includes Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Brad Paisley, and the Zac Brown Band. And as previously announced, Toby Keith and actress Kristen Bell will share hosting duties–and Keith will also perform, so be sure to keep your “Red Solo Cup” handy.
Voting is currently underway to determine the winners in each the categories for this year’s CMT Music Awards.
See the list of the 2012 nominees.
The award ceremony will be broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on June 6 at 8pm ET/PT on CMT and CMT.com.
