When was your first CMA Music Festival or Fan Fair?
Probably in 2004. That was the first year I moved to Nashville. I was just getting ready to sign to RCA, and I’ll never forget, the guy who was getting ready to sign me said, “I’m going to go listen to Kenny Chesney do a sound check down at the CMA Music Fest at Titan Stadium, and on the way there, I’m going to listen to your music and I’ll call you tomorrow.” I’ll never forget that was during CMA Music Fest. It was awesome.
What’s next for you?
We have a new single called “Old School.” We’re making a new album too. I’ve been writing like crazy out on the road. I just signed a new publishing deal, so there’s all these cool and new things happening.
