The 20 Merrill Gardens retirement communities in Western Washington will be part of a company wide effort to raise funds for the Puget Sound USO during Support Our Troops Week.

The communities will each host a special dining event with all the fixings straight from the Mess Hall and the public is invited to dine for just $10!  This is the second year for this fundraiser, in 2010 Merrill Gardens gave the USO a check for $50,000 and they hope to top that this year.

The events will happen during the week of June 13-19.  Each community will be hosting a special party with entertainment as part of the fundraiser.

Merrill Gardens will be donating all of the food and labor and every penny will go to the USO.  The money is much needed for the great programs that the USO offers to our service men and women.

This event is open to the general public for a minimum $10 donation.  All money collected will be donated to the USO.
